B.M. Samiul Islam is a key member of the LexPoint Chamber, bringing a wealth of experience in legal practice. He completed his LL.B (Honors) from the International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) in 2016 and earned his LL.M from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in 2018, one of the country’s premier institutions operated by the Bangladesh Army.

Mr. Samiul began his career at the renowned law chamber “Legal Solutions,” where he worked as an Associate Advocate. During his tenure, he honed his expertise in diverse areas of law, including:

• Drafting criminal cases, civil suits, and miscellaneous cases (land and other matters).
• Preparing and filing various legal documents such as agreements, legal notices, power of attorney, and petitions.
• Handling registration and mutation formalities with government authorities.
• Representing clients in court hearings, managing petitions, and overseeing litigation processes.

In 2020, Mr. Samiul transitioned to corporate legal practice by joining Timsun Bangladesh, a global Japanese tire company, as a Legal Officer. His responsibilities included:

• Managing litigation and credit recovery cases under laws such as the Artha Rin Adalat Ain-2003 and The Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.
• Drafting a wide range of legal documents, including deeds, agreements, and notices.
• Executing warrants, property attachments, and mortgage sales for credit recovery.
• Providing legal support to various departments and ensuring compliance with land, housing, and company regulations.

After years of corporate and chamber practice, Mr. Samiul returned to full-time legal practice in 2023 at the Dhaka Judges Court, where he continues to offer expert legal services in both litigation and advisory roles. His vast experience across corporate, criminal, and civil law positions him as a versatile and highly skilled legal professional.
