An exceptional academic achiever, Akimul secured first-class results throughout his academic career, obtaining an LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from the University of Rajshahi, one of Bangladesh’s most prestigious institutions. He was enrolled as an Advocate at the Bangladesh Bar Council in 2014 and gained permission to practice before the Hon’ble High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court.

Akimul began his legal career at the Dhaka Bar Association (2012–2014), gaining practical experience across a wide range of legal fields. His corporate expertise was further honed during his tenure as Head of Legal Affairs at the Dhaka South Zonal Office of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. (2015–2023), where he developed a deep understanding of corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance, and financial legal frameworks.
